Coil and loosely knot rope to prevent tangling and friction, and place in a tied-off pillowcase or delicate bag. 2. Wash cold on your washing machine's gentle/delicates setting with lingerie detergent. To reduce your drying time, set machine to add another spin cycle if possible. 3. Hang rope to dry without attempting to untie it (doing so is difficult and can damage your rope) for 48 hours.
